Vose Galleries LLC is a Boston-based art dealer focused on American realist paintings and works on paper from the 18th through the early 20th century. The gallery emphasizes high-quality pieces and has built its expertise around the history, acquisition, and valuation of American art, a specialization that reflects its long-running family lineage. Serving collectors and institutions interested in historical American realism, Vose Galleries provides access to works spanning several generations of artists, supported by the gallery’s established reputation in the field. The company operates as a small enterprise within the art market, maintaining its status as one of the oldest family-owned galleries in the United States and continuing to manage and present works from its Newbury Street location. A recent development is the continued operation of a dedicated gallery business with a focus on provenance and scholarly understanding of American art history.
