At VR Gorilla, based in Amsterdam, we believe in the power of immersive storytelling. Since our founding in 2015 by Daan Tan and Peter van Apeldoorn, we’ve grown into one of the leading VR film production studios worldwide, known for award-winning VR films and experiences. Our work has been recognized with a SPIN Award, multiple international festival prizes, a Lamp (Dutch Creativity Award) and a Silver Lovie Award.

We create VR experiences that inform, inspire and connect. From showing the harsh realities of refugee camps for Stichting Vluchteling to capturing the beauty of nature in Murchison Falls, our productions aim to raise awareness and spark positive impact. With our VR travel projects, we bring the world closer, making distant places and stories accessible to everyone.

Our clients include global brands, NGOs, healthcare institutions and educators. We collaborate closely, guiding each partner from concept to completion, ensuring stories are told with authenticity and impact.
