WA Bentz Construction has been building custom homes for over 30 years. With a loan from his Grandmother, Bill Bentz started his construction company in 1977, after he graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Economics. He designed and drew the plans for his first house having learned architectural drafting in college. Since they didn't teach architecture at Florida State he went instead to Florida A&M for those drafting classes. Those few courses he took intrigued him to consider building instead of law school as a career choice. He secured all permits, and physically did the construction work himself and also passed the State Contractors Exam as a General Contractor the first year in business. The roots of W.A. Bentz Construction were started.

Over the years, Bill has secured himself as one of the finest custom home builders in the South Florida region. 

At WA Bentz, we are with you throughout the whole construction process. We take the ‘quarterback’ position to make sure the ball gets taken to the goal. Although we may not design the house we bless every detail and speak up if anything doesn't line up consistently. Each of our larger jobs has a new checking account opened, which can be viewed by you as a client whenever you wish. All bids, subcontracts, comparisons are 100% transparent.
