On April 30, 2021, Macquarie Asset Management, the asset management division of Macquarie Group, acquired Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc.’s investment management business including Ivy Investments. Concurrent to the acquisition, LPL Holdings, Inc. acquired wealth manager Waddell & Reed, Inc.
