Located just across the street from Narragansett Town Beach on Kingstown Road, Warm Winds is a staple of The Pier. Starting as a small board brand in 1973, Warm Winds has grown to be a one-stop shop for all of those that live for board sports.

Warm Winds strives to provide the most complete selection of surf and surf-related products in the Northeast. With over 500 surfboards in stock, Warm Winds is committed to finding the perfect board for each customer, whether it is for Narragansett Town Beach or Uluwatu, Indonesia. Warm Winds also provides gear perfect for both of these climates, from a 5m hooded wintersuit to a thin lycra shirt for sun protection.

Warm Winds has devotedly been carrying brands like Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Rip Curl, and O’Neill. These brands have stocked the store with clothing, gear, and everything in between. Along with all of the quality products, services, prices and selection, we pride ourselves in the quality and experience of our staff.

Whether you live and breathe the surf lifestyle or are just visiting the beach for a family vacation, Warm Winds has that hard-to-find specialty set of fins you’ve been looking for or the sunscreen that was left at home.

Because Warm Winds is locally owned, we give back to the community by sponsoring local events from surf, snowboard, and skate contests to beach clean-ups and movie nights. We offer a board repair service and group and private surf lessons as well.
