Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (WOSM), based in Washington, DC and Chevy Chase, Maryland, is committed to providing world-class, patient-focused orthopaedic care.

Our physicians have provided the highest quality of orthopaedic medical and surgical care in the Washington Metropolitan Area for over 35 years. Today, our team consists of 12 board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic specialists, dedicated staff, and a specialized physical and occupational therapy program. We have three offices: one in Chevy Chase, Maryland, one on the campus of Sibley Memorial Hospital, and one in downtown Washington, DC.

Our dedicated physical and occupational program, SMARTherapy, offers comprehensive physical therapy, training, and rehabilitation services, which include pre- and post-operative care as well as treatment of acute or chronic non-operative conditions. Our talented physical therapists are able to treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions for patients of all ages, but with a specific focus on athletes and sports medicine. SMARTherapy’s direct partnership with Washington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine’s physicians ensures that therapist and physician have direct communication, allowing for a more comprehensive and seamless approach to your care.
