A $40 million overhaul and rebranding of Norfolk’s iconic Waterside Festival Marketplace will allow visitors to enjoy the best national and local brands and concepts in an atmosphere that melds energy and the beautiful waterfront.

Waterside District will feature many different types of food and will be anchored by The Market, a 30,000 square-foot, two-level concept located at the heart of the project. The Market will feature a variety of unique food and beverage concepts, as well as be the home for entertainment, festivals and family attractions.

Entertainment will include Family Fun Days, Family Movie Nights, free concerts with kid friendly music, chef for a day, weekend entertainment all day long featuring jugglers, magicians, face painters, etc. on the promenade. In addition, there will be world-class nightly entertainment that takes cuisine and food to the next level, as well as great art, food, and unique festivals to accompany the events already programmed by Festevents. Waterside District will feature a variety of all kinds of music including the best local and regional talent.
