Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative is a non-profit organization based in Geelong, Victoria. Formed by the Wathaurong community in 1978 and registered in 1980, it supports social, economic, and cultural development for Aboriginal people in Geelong and surrounding areas. The cooperative provides a range of services, including family and community support, youth and justice services, cultural heritage, and health programs, and it is the largest employer of Aboriginal people in the Geelong region. The Wathaurong people's traditional lands span the coast from the Werribee River to the Lorne peninsula and extend inland toward Ballarat, a homeland they have inhabited for more than 25,000 years. In 2024 the cooperative formalized the acquisition of a cultural centre, reflecting ongoing asset development to support community services and cultural initiatives.
