In 1904, the City of Waverly, Iowa invested $13,500 to establish Waverly Light and Power, a municipally owned electric utility that now serves approximately 4,600 customers in and around Waverly. Managed by a board of trustees, Waverly Light and Power offers customers local control and decision making, responsive service and exceptional reliability.
