Wayne Dowhower Construction, Inc. was founded March 1, 1959 in North Platte by Wayne and Cleda Dowhower as a home builder.  We are a professional General Contracting firm, serving North Platte and West Central Nebraska, performing new commercial construction and the remodeling of existing facilities.  We also perform light industrial and residential construction.
Our working philosophy is achieving customer satisfaction by providing the construction of our client’s facility with their interests foremost. It is important for us to construct a facility functionally designed to fit the needs of our clients, while providing value for every dollar invested. We pride ourselves in our attention to quality construction techniques, keeping up with technological improvements, the timely and economical performance of our responsibilities, and most importantly, the service to our clients after the project is completed.
Wayne Dowhower Construction is a member of the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce and Development Corporation, the North Platte Home Builders Association, Nebraska State Home Builders Association, National Home Builders Association and the Nebraska Building Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America. We are registered with the Nebraska Work Force Development Department of Labor.
