WE Soda is the world’s largest producer of natural soda ash and a leading manufacturer of sodium bicarbonate—essential ingredients in glassmaking, detergents, chemicals, food, and sustainable technologies like Solar PV and EV batteries.

Headquartered in London and founded in 2009, WE Soda operates in Türkiye and the USA.

🇹🇷 Our operations in Türkiye pioneered solution-extraction mining from trona deposits at Eti and Kazan. These facilities produce 5.1 million metric tonnes annually with the industry’s lowest CO₂ emissions and water intensity.

🇺🇸 In February 2025, we acquired the Westvaco and Granger facilities in Wyoming, adding 4.3 million metric tonnes of capacity. This strategic move strengthened our global footprint, boosted supply chain resilience via ANSAC’s export network, and reinforced our leadership in sustainable production.

Today, WE Soda produces 9.4 million metric tonnes per year, serving customers in over 80 countries.
