Weatherhaven designs, manufactures, transports and installs rugged, portable fabric-covered shelters for personnel supporting mineral and mining explorations. The shelters can function as sleeping quarters, offices, recreation facilities, wash houses, kitchen and dining areas, warehouses and shops, and have been deployed on all seven continents in extreme conditions such as deserts, tundra and tropical climates. At mission end, Weatherhaven demobilizes, refurbishes and stores shelters and equipment for reuse. Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Weatherhaven operates as a mid-sized firm within the defense and space manufacturing sector, serving clients in challenging operational environments. The company emphasizes its experience managing projects with complex logistics and climate extremes, delivering deployable infrastructure that can be mobilized, installed and subsequently demobilized. In 2024, Weatherhaven participated in CANSEC and announced a collaboration with Nimba.
