WeatherPort fabric buildings are produced by Alaska Structures, a division of AKS Industries, Inc., and focus on portability and long-term durability for the construction sector. Manufactured in the United States, these engineered fabric structures have been in operation since 1968 and have reached customers in more than 85 countries. They can be erected in as little as 10 minutes and are designed for relocation or permanent installation, with designs that accommodate local wind and snow loads. Applications span cabins, yurts, greenhouses, pool enclosures, event structures, workshops, warehouses, and storage facilities, among others, including uses in ski resorts and film or television production as sets or props. The company is based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, operates in the construction industry, and serves an international market, with notable expansion activity such as the establishment of facilities in Poland in 2022.
