WeatherTAP is the fastest weather on the web, and has been named Best of the Web by Forbes Magazine twice. Mission WeatherTAP.com strives to be the fastest weather on the web, with no advertising to get in the way of the data. Company Overview WeatherTAP.com was the first to deliver real-time radar imagery online, beginning in July of 1998. Real-time radar, hi-res satellite imagery, lightning strike data (national mosaic and regional views), a Severe Weather section and a comprehensive Aviation section make up the bulk of the site. One of the more popular features of the site is RadarLab HD, a java applet subscribers my download that display Level II radar Imagery (higher resolution; 128 colors vs 15), and gives the user more control over the presentation of the data. Users can plot custom locations on the weather maps with lat/lon coordinates (we'll even show you how to find them!), so they can place their home, child's school, place of business and more to track severe weather to places of the utmost interest. The storm table shows attributes of EACH storm cell, such as where it is, where it projects to be in 15-minute intervals, if it contains hail, the size of that hail, it it has a tornadic signature associated with, and much more.
