The West Bend School District (WBSD) is proud to serve the students, families, and community members of the West Bend area under our vision of Excellence for All. All who work for the WBSD are guided in their roles by our mission of Preparing All Students for College Readiness and Career Success. The WBSD serves 5,600 students in the West Bend, Wisconsin area, which is located 30 miles north of Milwaukee. We serve children and families living in the city of West Bend, Villages of Jackson and Newburg, and Townships of Barton, Polk, Trenton, Jackson, West Bend, and Addison. Our schools include one early education center, five elementary schools (grades K-4), one intermediate school (grades 5-6), one middle school (grades 7-8), and two high schools (grades 9-12). We are one of the few school districts that run the county Head Start program, and we offer 4K with several community partners. The WBSD believes our work is never done in helping to guide our students toward achieving success inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, our guiding philosophy is Continuous Improvement.
