West Harlem Group Assistance, Inc. (WHGA) is a community-based development organization established in 1971 to revitalize West and Central Harlem by addressing deteriorated and vacant properties. As Harlem has experienced economic growth, WHGA has broadened its supportive and social service offerings to help residents at risk of displacement.
