West Lake Art Conservation Center is a nationally recognized multidisciplinary conservation studio located in the Finger Lakes of Central New York. West Lake Art Conservation Center has been serving the needs of museums, historical societies, and private collectors since 1975 through is legacy of initially operating as the private practice business, West Lake Conservators Ltd, prior to it's transition to operation as a 501c3 in 2023.


West Lake Art Conservation Center specializes in the treatment of paintings, works of art on paper, paper documents, photographs, murals, painted theatre curtains, painted objects, and frames. We also provide expertise in preservation framing, condition assessment, and disaster recovery.
