Westbrook is a Calabasas-based media company founded in 2019 by Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith, Miguel Melendez, and Ko Yada. It unites several units under one umbrella: Westbrook Studios, a premium film and television studio; Westbrook Media, an IP incubator, brand content studio, and production company; Red Table Talk Productions, producer of Red Table Talk and related programs; and Good Goods, which develops consumer products tied to the company's IP and talent partnerships. It curates and produces content across short and mid-form digital formats as well as traditional television and feature films for major platforms. It draws on the Smith Family's long experience in entertainment and media to shape its storytelling slate. Its activities span development, production, and branded content for artists, brands, and platforms seeking original IP-driven storytelling. In September 2024, Westbrook announced a collaboration with Flavor Unit Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment to develop an entire slate of hip hop biopics about iconic artists in the genre.
