The Westchester County Bar Association is a not-for-profit professional organization for lawyers founded in 1896 and based in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. It operates with a voluntary membership of more than 2,000 lawyers and pursues goals such as promoting justice, cultivating jurisprudence, expanding access to the courts, and improving the administration of justice, while elevating standards of integrity, competence, and courtesy in the legal profession. The association advances these aims through seven Sections and more than forty Committees, guided by a Board of Directors that reflects a broad cross-section of the legal community. It provides opportunities for attorneys, affiliates, and law students to engage with and shape the local legal community and to uphold high professional standards. Members receive information through the monthly Westchester Lawyer magazine, the Westchester Bar Journal, regular mailings, and web and email updates. A recent development is the appointment of Karen Beltran as President in May 2026.
