The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is a major integrated health care system serving the Hudson Valley region of New York. The network comprises nine hospitals on seven campuses and sixty ambulatory care sites, with about 1,700 beds and is headquartered in Valhalla. It provides the region's only Level I trauma center for adults and children and is the only Academic Medical Center located between New York City and Albany. It supports a large workforce and thousands of attending physicians, delivering care to a high volume of patients—roughly 300,000 unique patients each year. It is the state's largest Medicaid provider north of New York City, serving about one in three Medicaid patients in the region, and includes a wide range of specialized centers such as pediatric care, organ transplantation, trauma services, Level IV NICU, stroke care, burn care, and extensive mental health services. In 2026, WMCHealth announced a strategic partnership with MVP Health Care to advance care delivery at the point of care.
