Westcoast Sports Associates (WSA) is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, California, established in 1995 with a mission to enable economically disadvantaged children in Southern California to participate in sports. By funding roughly two dozen youth sports programs in the region, WSA allocates resources to expand access to athletic opportunities for youth and to maximize community impact through volunteer leadership drawn from business and sports communities. The group operates within the spectator sports sector and relies on a diverse volunteer base to support program delivery and community outreach. A notable recent development includes a collaboration with an equipment provider to support facilities in need, reflecting WSA’s efforts to bolster program infrastructure and resources for participating youth. The organization is structured as a small, volunteer-driven nonprofit, working to connect aspiring young athletes with sport opportunities across Southern California.
