Western Gravel Constructors (WGC) was started in early 2017 after a need for a full-service, local general contractor with big construction experience on the Western Slope was discovered. WGC was started by an owner of Western Gravel Inc. (WGI), another local company who has been doing business in Montrose County and the surrounding communities for nearly 30 years. With the ability to provide concrete and gravel nearly everywhere in a 75-mile radius and a portfolio of miscellaneous construction projects, it was decided it was time to expand on the construction business and dive into bigger projects. With over 20 years of construction experience on the WGC leadership team and projects won all over Colorado and surrounding states, WGC strives to be not only a prominent local business but an active stakeholder in Western Colorado communities.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective projects on schedule by employing and supporting motivated, flexible, and focused teams. We value the importance of our relationships and will continue to remain fair and true in our dealings with all employees, clients, vendors, and partners.
