Western Municipal Water District is a public utilities entity that provides drinking water and wastewater services in western Riverside County. Formed in 1954, it serves retail customers and wholesale agencies across the region from Corona to Temecula. As a member agency of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Western receives most of its water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay-Delta and the Colorado River.
