Western Video Market (WVM) Innovative Livestock Marketing Since 1989 Founded by veteran livestock marketers Ellington Peek and John Rodgers, Western Video Market is the largest livestock video auction company in the western United States. We provide trusted internet and video marketing services for commercial and purebred cattle and sheep producers. Fully licensed and bonded, WVM also offers central clearing for livestock shipments, ensuring secure and efficient transactions. Our mission is to deliver innovative marketing opportunities backed by the personal attention that has defined our company for more than three decades. How It Works Producers interested in selling with WVM are connected with one of our experienced representatives. Your rep visits your ranch to video your livestock and prepare a contract that includes key details such as weight, head count, delivery dates, genetics, and value-added program information. They also help you determine how to best position your cattle for maximum exposure and value. Your catalog description is then posted on our website, distributed electronically, and mailed to buyers nationwide. Edited videos of your livestock are uploaded online so buyers can preview cattle prior to each live auction. Sales & Buyer Reach WVM hosts 13 live sales annually, all broadcast over the internet, with six also televised on Dish Network. Our buyer list includes an extensive group of registered participants who can bid by phone, online, or in person. Many also attend our sales on-site, especially our July Signature Sale.
