White Buffalo is a 510(c)(3) organization and was started in 1996. We are dedicated to conserving native species and ecosystems through research, education and management programs. We actively work to improve the understanding of natural resource management for the purpose of conservation through sponsored, supported, and conducted scientific research and educational efforts. Our approach is unique, in that we generate funding for our research and donated management projects by providing management alternatives in non-traditional settings as a service. This allows us to focus on priority issues based on internal expertise and interests with guidance by our peers, colleagues and collaborators without relying solely on grant funding. We’ve been at the forefront of the development of wildlife management techniques and tools for nearly two decades, and we continue to share our findings with fellow professionals and others passionate about ecosystem management.
