White Mountains Community College is a public higher education institution located in Berlin, New Hampshire, and serves as the northernmost college in the Community College System of New Hampshire. It offers two-year associate degrees and shorter-term certificates across a wide range of programs to support local students and regional workforce needs. As part of its ongoing efforts to expand transfer options, WMCC is partnering with the University of New Hampshire to establish a bachelor's completion pathway for program alumni beginning in fall 2026. The college also participates in workforce development initiatives, including ApprenticeshipNH collaborations with the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, HB Logging, and HB Trucking to create a training pipeline. WMCC has a record of community partnerships, notably for prison education with the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility, an effort that earned it the New Hampshire Department of Corrections' Community Partner of the Year award; it has previously partnered with Plymouth State University on an Educator Fast Track Program aimed at addressing teacher shortages.
