Wine and SpiritsVirginia, United States11-50 Employees

Whitebarrel Winery operates within the beverage manufacturing sector, offering its own line of wines produced at a Virginia vineyard and tasting room. The business emerged from a long-running viticultural effort that began in 2006, with vines planted annually since 2007 and fruit-bearing vines appearing around 2010, expanding from a small test site to a substantial vineyard with thousands of vines and fruit plants. Based near Christiansburg in the state of Virginia, the winery opened to the public in spring 2011 and provides a space for visitors to sample and relax while enjoying its distinctive wines. The operation is established as a mid-sized winery, serving customers who visit the tasting room and presumably broader wine consumers in the region. A recent note of activity indicates ongoing cultivation, reinforcing its role as a local producer with a continuing emphasis on vineyard development and wine production.
