Whittaker’s is a New Zealand family business devoted to crafting good honest chocolate from bean to bar since 1896. We firmly believe in ensuring quality; each step in our chocolate making process is done at our one factory in Porirua, from raw cocoa bean to final wrapped product. Whittaker’s was founded over 120 years ago by James Henry Whittaker, and is now directed by his grandchildren, third-generation Whittaker brothers Andrew and Brian. The next generation of Whittaker’s, siblings Matt and Holly, also work in the business as co-Chief Operating Officers. 

We are proud to be Colmar Brunton’s ‘New Zealand’s Most Loved Brand’ eight years running, and Reader’s Digest’s ‘New Zealand’s Most Trusted Brand’ for a record ten consecutive years. Our delicious chocolate range contains over a hundred products; our bestseller is Five Roll Refined Creamy Milk.
