Whole Family Health Center is a nonprofit community health organization serving the Treasure Coast for more than 25 years. It uses an integrated care model that includes adult and pediatric primary care, behavioral health services, and a pharmacy with delivery, all in one location. The center seeks to be a healthcare home for all community members, regardless of whether they live here full- or part-time. It is based in Vero Beach, on the Treasure Coast, within the Hospitals and Health Care industry. WFHC began in Fort Pierce as the AIDS Research and Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast, founded by Dr. Gerald Pierone, an infectious disease specialist who now serves as Chief Medical Officer and oversees the infectious disease program, including the COVID-19 response. Today, the organization provides care for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and STIs across the Treasure Coast.
