Whooshh Innovations, based in Seattle, develops systems to move live fish with minimal stress. Their patented methods enable fish to be transported upstream or around dams and hatcheries quickly and safely, providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional passage approaches. In the hydropower sector, the company emphasizes selective fish passage and data capabilities, including scanning for invasive species.

The company serves environmental services clients such as dam operators, hatcheries, broodstock facilities, and aquaculture operations, addressing mortality and spawning viability by reducing transport time. A recent development is a partnership with WWS Wasserkraft GmbH announced in 2023 to deliver upstream and downstream fish passage solutions.
