WHUR 96.3 FM is a Washington, D.C.-based radio station delivering urban adult contemporary music, blending old school selections with contemporary R&B and classic soul. It operates an HD radio service, with HD1 serving Black/African American communities across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, and it streams worldwide via its website and TuneIn.

As a small to mid-sized media operation, WHUR engages with its audience and hosts community initiatives.
