Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Wieland Olin Brass is a leading North American producer and converter of copper and copper-alloy sheet, strip, foil, tube and fabricated components. While primarily processing copper and copper-alloys, the company also rerolls and forms other metals such as stainless and carbon steel. Its products are used in five principal end markets: building and construction, munitions, automotive, coinage, and electronics and electrical components. Its main strip production operates at an integrated brass mill in East Alton, Illinois, with downstream facilities including stamping in East Alton, a rolling and finishing mill in Waterbury, Connecticut, a rolling mill in Bryan, Ohio focused on automotive and electronics components, and a copper-alloy tube facility in Cuba, Missouri. The company also runs a joint venture service center with Luoyang Copper in Guangzhou, China and became part of the Wieland Group through a 2019 merger.
