Wild Oats Market operates as a retail groceries cooperative based in Williamstown, in Northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts. For roughly four decades it has served as a locally focused source of organic and sustainable foods, owned and governed by its members. Since moving to its current storefront in 2005, the store has expanded to include wellness and body-care products, wine and craft beer, prepared foods, an in-house bakery, and a daily hot bar. 

The cooperative has more than 1,600 member-owners who participate in governance through voting and equity participation. It emphasizes community impact through programs such as composting, supporting local farms and businesses, donations to schools and service organizations, and customer education on healthful options and sustainable practices. In 2026 it expanded its regional farming partnerships, joining with Full Well Farm in Adams and Many Forks Farm in Clarksburg.
