With about 300 beds and 1200 employees is WZA, according to the national standards, a medium-sized hospital. In 2013 WZA received nearly 203,000 outpatient visitors. In addition there were 24,500 recordings, of which ca. 11,500 day care. The WZA is a progressive hospital that adjusts its care to the patient and actively collaborates with other healthcare providers. The direct access of hospital care, care in nursing homes and non-hospital care leads to rapid flow and short waiting times. In the region WZA wants to excel in hospitality and service. Each employee contributes in its own way to join, with passion, fun and a positive attitude. In this way, we work daily to welcom our patients and to coopearate pleasantly with our colleagues. In the WZA specialists, colleagues and patients still know each other. Research shows that patients really appreciate that. In 2007 the WZA hospital celebrated its 100th anniversary.
