Williamsburg Technical College is a two-year postsecondary institution located in Kingstree, in the Atlantic Coast region of South Carolina. The school originated in 1969 as the Williamsburg Regional Manpower Training Center, established by local leaders to deliver workforce training, attract industry, and address poverty, out-migration, and unemployment in Williamsburg County. It achieved accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 1977, with reaffirmations in 1982, 1992, and 2002, and positions itself as helping students explore their abilities and align their development with personal goals and societal needs. Today the college serves a regional student population as a small to mid-sized educational organization focused on career- and technical-education programs. A recent development includes a nursing education collaboration with McLeod Health announced in June 2026. It has also partnered with the Williamsburg County School District to offer dual enrollment and Career and Technical Education opportunities for high school students.
