Founded in 1972, Midway Car Rental, a southern California based car Rental Company, was founded on the principles of relationships and personalized service.  Midway has endured and prospered over its forty year history, in a very competitive industry and through an unstable economy, with product and service offerings unparalleled. In 2007, the principals of Midway Car Rental acted on the feedback gathered from its clientele and established Wilshire Chauffeured Services as a division of Midway.  Since the start of this division, WCS has mirrored those principles and philosophies so as to exceed the expectations of its clients and partners in relation to the ground transportation industry.  Through consistency in service provision and our relationship-focused culture, we’ve earned and maintained the exclusive chauffeured services contracts with many four and five star hotels and have become a preferred provider to many corporate, entertainment, financial and professional sports organizations.

Since our inception, our reputation for service detail continued to amass and our domestic and global growth became imminent, allowing global scalability while enabling WCS to be selective in the choice of our service partners.  In 2011, Wilshire Chauffeured was recognized as a Virtuoso supplier and are one of two ground transportation companies of the globe to hold this honor.  Today, Wilshire Chauffeured Services provides its chauffeured services in over 700 cities spanning all continents with bases of operations in Los Angeles and New York.

The addition of Wilshire Chauffeured Services gives EmpireCLS the ability to expand its services in the Los Angeles area, as well as enhance its technology offerings through the use of the company’s advanced software system. It is undergoing significant client-facing upgrades to improve user experience. Clients of Wilshire Chauffeured Services will also benefit from EmpireCLS’ extensive network of affiliates in over 1,000 cities around the world, which as a result, will reduce estimated arrival times for on-demand reservations.
