Mission Statement: Wilson County Schools ensures an environment in which every student develops high personal expectations, knowledge, and skills necessary to be successful today and in the future. "Excellence in all we do!" Wilson County Schools is pleased to announce that two elementary schools in the district have been identified as “Reward Schools” by the Tennessee Department of Education. This is a tremendous honor for the schools being recognized. In order to make the list, a school must score among the top 5-percent in the state, for academic achievement and growth. Gladeville Elementary and Stoner Creek Elementary are both being recognized for Progress and Performance. Only 23 other schools in the state received this distinction. Their presence on that elite list speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of the teachers, administrators, and students at each school. Some other schools in the district made noteworthy progress. W.A. Wright Elementary achieved the highest growth score for elementary schools in Wilson County. Lakeview Elementary had the highest achievement score. There were 75.2% of the students who scored “on track” or “mastered” in English, Math, and Science. Mt. Juliet High School had the highest achievement and growth score for high school. Wilson County Schools is the place to be!
