The Wisconsin Art Education Association is a small nonprofit organization based in the United States that focuses on visual art and design education. Its work centers on supporting teachers through professional development, highlighting student talents, and reinforcing art and design as core academic disciplines, while also fostering communication with other art organizations and offering lifelong learning opportunities.
The association serves educators and students by promoting excellence in visual art education and addressing important issues in the field. In addition to its instructional mission, it engages in partnerships, as illustrated by a recent collaboration with the Neville Public Museum in Wisconsin, which demonstrates its role in expanding opportunities for exposure and advancement in art education.
