Wisconsin Canoe Company is a small outdoor travel services provider based in Spring Green, Wisconsin, offering guided trips and canoe rentals on the Wisconsin River. It has provided guiding services since 2005 for organizations such as Mountain Lake Adventures and the Wisconsin Hoofers, and began offering canoe rentals in spring 2010 after acquiring assets from an outfitter going out of business. The business attributes its early success to its guides, customer service, and the development of an online reservation system that shows current river conditions and canoe availability.
The company serves outdoor enthusiasts and organizations seeking river-based trips in Southwest Wisconsin. In response to demand, it expanded its canoe fleet for subsequent seasons and has indicated plans to explore additional ventures in Spring Green and Southwest Wisconsin, including bike rentals and trail development.
