The Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region is a nonprofit organization operating in the philanthropic fundraising sector, focused on advancing social change in Northeast Wisconsin by supporting the needs and talents of local women and girls. It fosters a culture of philanthropy through pooling gifts from a broad donor base to sustain community grants, advocacy, and education work, engaging participants from public, private, and nonprofit sectors as partners. Based in Appleton, Wisconsin, the organization aims to empower women and girls in the Fox Valley region by promoting safety, basic living needs, economic security, and opportunities to pursue dreams, while also encouraging awareness of philanthropy and nonprofit leadership. The group emphasizes collaboration and community engagement to address the lived realities of women and girls in the area, with a recent initiative that introduced a summer internship program to support young people entering the workforce and to help employers build more inclusive environments.
