Achieving and maintaining health and wellness is a twofold process – the first is to analyze symptoms and identify and treat disease, if present, or rule it out. Too often, this is where the process stops in medicine. Once we’ve determined what a symptom isn’t, (i.e., ruled out serious disease), Dr. Ravasia feels that the next step is to figure out what it is and how to modify it to help you feel well. How we feel as women, and our sense of wellness, goes far beyond the absence of disease. Women’s Health Connection is a safe place to let us know what is on your mind. We are listening. Open and honest information exchange is what it’s all about. The provider’s role is to inform and guide, but it is always your choice what to incorporate into your life and your role to make it happen. We respect your decisions and encourage and support your efforts to achieve wellness and balance in your life.
