Women’s Health for Life, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Marilyn Kindig- Stahl D.O. Dr. Kindig-Stahl came to Ohio with the vision of women taking care of women. The goal which continues today was not to just take care of them during pregnancy but to continue from the time of adolescent development until becoming elderly for all of their gynecological and obstetrical needs along the way. This is how the name “Women’s Health for Life, Inc” was chosen. From one physician in 1998 with two staff members, we have now grown to over 30 employees. We now have 3 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner and a physician’s assistant that take care of our patients and are planning to add another physician in 2017. The practice is now owned by Dr. Jennifer Niesen and Dr. Michelle Coates. We continue to offer healthcare to women from Lima and 10 counties within the state of Ohio. We perform infertility services, gynecological surgery, high risk pregnancy, infertility and obstetrical services in two locations in Lima. We have an office behind Lima Memorial Hospital and we also have a location behind St. Rita’s Medical center. We continue to strive to be the leader of industry changes in the area and continue to add new procedures and policies to improve the care we can provide to the women we serve. Dr. Jennifer Niesen was the first surgeon in Lima to perform robotic gynecology procedures at Lima Memorial Hospital. She had the first case in 2012, and has since had the 100th case and in 2013 she had the 200th case in Lima. We also have extended office hours to better be able to provide a much needed service for those women who work outside the home during the day or are home with young children and can’t come to the office during normal business hours. We now have extended office hours until 8:00 pm on Mondays and Thursdays to accommodate these patients.
