In school no one taught you about financial planning did they? It’s a common thing that most people don’t understand.

When both you and your partner are working and earning good money, how can you make the most of that money and create more wealth so you can retire to live the life you want?

All it takes are some simple steps to set you on a path to having a Million Dollars to retire on. Of course, it won’t be a million after tax, so why not aim higher?

You probably don’t think it’s easy to improve your wealth. It is when you sent some SMART goals. Understand how you are spending your money (expenses) and what income you have coming in (revenue). Once you understand that, getting into a savings habit is easy.

Then it’s a matter of understanding how to take that spare cash you have and make it work for you.

Of course there are a number of different options available and they all have different levels of returns and risks. So, it depends on your acceptable risk level as to which option or options for investment you choose.

And the one thing you probably haven’t thought about is what happens if you suddenly can’t work or even worse die unexpectedly. Setting up certain processes and putting authority in place for others to act on your behalf is important. That’s what Estate Planning is all about. It’s the thing no one wants to talk about, yet makes you feel much more at ease when you have completed it.
