Words of Hope is a religious institutions organization focused on equipping indigenous Christian leaders to share the gospel in the heart languages of unreached people. Its work aims to reach populations where the Good News may be illegal or met with persecution by supporting local leaders to communicate through diverse channels, starting with radio and expanding to other formats as needed. The organization collaborates with communities in order to bring gospel hope in a way that resonates culturally and linguistically, enabling access to Christian truth for listeners who might not be reached by traditional channels. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Words of Hope has a long history spanning eight decades and operates within an international context to serve audiences across multiple languages. The company’s mission centers on sustaining indigenous leadership and locally led outreach to offer encouragement and salvation through language-specific messaging.
