The Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico (WCCNM) coordinates the American Job Centers in the Central Region, aligning workforce development services to support the employment, training, and education needs of individuals and employers across Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia counties. The WCCNM board oversees a network of partners and federally funded employment and training programs within these four counties, with centers located in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, and Moriarty. As the largest workforce development board in New Mexico by population served, its central aim is to ensure that the needs of employers, workers, and job seekers in the region are met. Based in Albuquerque, the organization collaborates with multiple programs and external partners to deliver services through its American Job Centers in the four-county area. In March 2024, WCCNM launched an online workforce portal, followed by the introduction of a business inquiry portal in early April 2024, marking recent digital enhancements to access its services.
