WIN is a nonprofit organization based in Taylor, Michigan, that focuses on coordinating workforce development efforts and providing labor market intelligence to employers in Southeast Michigan. It convenes initiatives such as MiApprenticeship.org, MAGMA MiAutomobility.org, and Michigan’s Health Career Alliance to build a cohesive talent system that supports employer success. The network brings together a broad range of partners, including community colleges, Michigan Works! Agencies, four-year institutions, K-12 schools, economic development organizations, government, and employers. WIN operates through a formal partnership among ten community colleges and seven Michigan Works! Agencies across the region, with activities guided by three goals: data, employer strategies, and policy. It provides current labor market intelligence to improve regional talent system effectiveness, serves as an employer-driven resource hub and connection point, and seeks to inform talent development policy through research and innovative practice—focused on career pathways and data quality and access. A notable activity in recent years includes the launch of the Michigan Workforce Career and Resource Guide in 2023.
