We're a global charity dedicated to transforming the lives of working animals - including donkeys, horses, mules, camels, oxen and other animals. Working animals quietly support the livelihoods of millions of people around the world. But in tough, unforgiving conditions, many endure injury, illness and exhaustion. Together with a network of partners, we provide essential veterinary treatment, campaign for better welfare standards and support owners as they build the knowledge and skills to look after their animals with confidence and care - while inspiring the next generation to do the same. We also help communities prepare for and respond to emergencies, from droughts to floods, so working animals can be cared for during crises. We've been making an impact for over a century, working across Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America - but there's so much more we need to do.
