Working Films brings the worlds of documentary filmmaking and social justice together. Over the last 25 years, we have developed deep relationships in both of these arenas that allow us to build effective film-driven campaigns, inform residents and move people to action to address issues that impact their lives. We connect change leaders with the right films at the right moment and help them engage audiences when the lights come up. We help mission-driven filmmakers with funding, training, and technical assistance, and we train organizers and nonprofit leaders in how to best use film in their campaigns. On issues like racism, income inequality, and the climate crisis, we believe film has a unique power to shift the story and drive change in our local community and across the nation.
