Workshops for Warriors is a fully-audited, board-governed 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to provide quality training, educational programs, and opportunities to earn third party nationally recognized credentials to enable veterans, transitioning service members, and other students to be successfully trained in their chosen advanced manufacturing career field.

Veterans choose to take classes in one of two primary tracks — Welding or CNC Machining. Each semester is 16 weeks long and results in nationally-recognized, portable and stackable credentials from the industry’s lead accrediting bodies: the American Welding Society (AWS), the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), Mastercam University, Solidworks, Immerse2Learn, and the National Coalition for Certification Centers (NC3).

The United States has a severe shortage of skilled labor in the welding and fabricating industries, and our veterans are a perfect fit for these jobs. We are rebuilding America’s advanced manufacturing workforce, one veteran at a time.

Our organization receives no federal, state, or local government funding and relies on private donations. 87% of all donations go straight to training programs, and through these private donations WFW is able to provide training at no cost to the veteran.
