The World Affairs Council of New Hampshire is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization focused on international affairs. Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, it has operated since 1954 to help the Granite State engage with a globally connected world by creating and sustaining international connections that enrich culture, economy and civic life. The council advances global understanding through educational programs about foreign policy for communities and schools, and it works with the U.S. State Department to foster the development of international leaders. The organization maintains a small to mid-sized staff as it carries out its mission. Operating in the international affairs field, the council serves communities and schools seeking education on foreign policy and opportunities to engage in global issues. In early 2023, it partnered with Plymouth State University and the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs to present findings from the 2021-2022 New Hampshire Foreign Direct Investment Report at the fifth annual FDI Forum.
